Earth Day and Recycling Day
April 18, 2015 – 9AM to 12 Noon
The Tilden Township EAC will be joining Blue Mountain Wildlife in a combined effort to clean up the Kernsville Dam Area and Tilden Township. We will be meeting at the Kernsville Dam Monument parking lot at 9:00 AM. Vests, gloves and trash bags will be provided, as well as coffee and donuts. We hope to see YOU there!!!

On April 18, 2015 the Tilden Township EAC will be joining with Blue Mountain Wildlife in a combined effort to clean up the Kernsville Dam Area and Tilden Township. In order to coordinate this event, please call the Township Office at 610-562-7410 no later than April 15, 2015 to be listed as a volunteer. Individuals and groups are welcome. This is a GREAT chance for anyone who is in need of community service hours! The first 15 Tilden Township residents that sign up before April 1, 2015 will be given a free Earth Day T-Shirt (limited to two per family).

To all of the 49 volunteers that helped to clean up Tilden Township
We Thank You!!!
Our clean-up crews collected 119 bags of trash and enough debris to fill a 10 yard roll-off trash container!!! A number of tires were also collected from along the roadways. The volunteers were able to cover the Kernsville Dam Area, parts of Hex Highway and Mountain Road. Clean up was completed on the following roads: Academy, Fisher Dam, Holly, Industrial, Laurel, Lowland (West of Rt. 61), Mountain View, Pine, Stone and Windy. Well done everyone!
We’d like to extend a special Thank You to the Blue Mountatin Wildlife organization for their involvement and also the Tilden Township Police Department for their assistance with traffic and safety!!
