Theft at Verizon Store

August 26th, 2013

On 08/26/2013 at about 1414 hours, an unknown white male, mid 20’s, glasses, 5’8″, 180 lbs, lip ring towards right side, buzzed haircut, entered the Verizon store at 1700 Tilden Ridge Drive, Tilden Township, and removed a demo iPhone 5 cellular phone, valued at $199, from the security device holding it to the display table. The male then exited the store, got into a white Mitsubishi Gallant and left the parking lot.  The same male had been in the store minutes earlier with a female companion and her toddler looking at cellular phones. The female was in a silver sedan and left the area prior to the theft.

Photos of the suspect and companion are attached to this release. Anyone having any information on this theft or the identity of the persons involved should contact Tilden Township Police at (610) 562-9001 or Berks County Crime Alert at (877) 373-9913.
